New R0AR mobile wallet combines 19-network support, multi-aggregator swap routing, approval-risk monitoring, MEV protection, NFT intelligence, fiat access and guided Web3 education in one non-custodial app

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, DC — August 27, 2026 — R0AR today announced the R0AR Smart Wallet Mobile App for Apple iOS and Android, introducing a premium self-custody wallet designed to eliminate one of Web3’s most persistent compromises: forcing users to choose between simplicity and control.

Built around the brand line “Self-custody. Your keys, your kingdom,” R0AR Smart Wallet brings together multichain asset management, professional-grade swap execution, security monitoring, NFT support, fiat access, WalletConnect connectivity and guided Web3 education within a single mobile experience.

Rather than functioning as another basic send-and-receive crypto wallet, R0AR Smart Wallet is designed to quietly handle much of the infrastructure complexity that typically sits between users and decentralized finance.

“Crypto users should not need four different wallets, multiple RPC configurations, external approval scanners, separate swap comparison tools and a collection of tutorials just to participate safely in Web3,” said Dustin Plantholt, Founder of R0AR. “The goal with R0AR Smart Wallet is to bring those capabilities together while keeping the most important principle intact: the user controls the keys.”

A Smart Wallet Built Around the User

R0AR Smart Wallet supports the creation of new hierarchical deterministic wallets, importing existing 12- to 24-word seed phrases, and private-key imports. Users can maintain multiple wallets, seed phrases and derived accounts, label and rename accounts, and switch between them from within the mobile application.

Portfolio assets are automatically scanned and populated following import, helping eliminate the empty-wallet experience often encountered when moving from another application. Encrypted .r0ar backups can also be exported and restored locally or through supported cloud storage options including iCloud and Google Drive.

The result is an experience intended to remain approachable for newer users while offering the control expected by experienced DeFi participants.

19 Mainnets. One Wallet.

Multichain fragmentation has become one of Web3’s largest usability problems.

R0AR Smart Wallet addresses that problem with support for 19 mainnets plus three testnets, spanning networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, Avalanche, BNB Chain, zkSync Era, Scroll, Linea, Mantle, ApeChain, Immutable zkEVM, Ronin, Beam, Fantom, Cronos, Celo, Moonbeam (Chains are changing due to deprecation) and the R0AR ecosystem’s own chain infrastructure.

For users, that means fewer situations where discovering a new protocol or asset also means downloading another wallet.

Behind the scenes, R0AR Smart Wallet also implements per-network RPC fallback infrastructure. When a preferred RPC endpoint becomes unavailable, the wallet can automatically retry using alternate endpoints and inform the user that the connection has been switched rather than simply presenting an unexplained failure.

That resilience reflects a larger philosophy behind the application: Web3 infrastructure can be complex without requiring the end user to experience that complexity.

Five Swap Sources Compete for the User’s Transaction

One of R0AR Smart Wallet’s most significant DeFi features is its approach to trade execution.

Instead of depending on a single decentralized exchange or routing provider, the wallet can compare quotes from CoW Swap, ParaSwap, 0x, KyberSwap and Odos. The system evaluates pricing alongside estimated gas costs to determine the effective net result of a transaction and retains competing quotes so the user can understand why a particular route was selected.

The objective is simple: users should not have to manually visit several exchanges or aggregators to determine whether they are receiving competitive execution.

Cross-chain swaps and bridging are also supported through LI.FI, allowing users to move assets across supported ecosystems while receiving more actionable information when routes are unavailable, an amount is too small or a token is unsupported.

R0AR Smart Wallet additionally performs pre-flight transaction simulation intended to identify likely transaction failures before a user spends gas broadcasting the transaction.

Security That Goes Beyond Protecting a Seed Phrase

Self-custody places control in the hands of the user, but R0AR believes wallet software should provide tools that help users exercise that control intelligently.

Secrets within R0AR Smart Wallet are stored through the native iOS Keychain and Android Keystore infrastructure rather than standard application storage. Unlocking can be protected through password verification and supported device biometrics including Face ID and Touch ID.

Private keys are re-derived from the secure vault when signatures are required rather than remaining continuously cached in application memory.

The wallet also introduces a dedicated Approval Risk Center capable of scanning active ERC-20 token approvals across connected networks.

Users can identify unlimited allowances, review approvals according to risk and initiate on-chain revocations directly from the wallet.

That distinction is important because many major wallet exploits do not begin with someone stealing a seed phrase. They begin when a user unknowingly grants a malicious or compromised smart contract authority to move tokens.

R0AR Smart Wallet is designed to make those permissions visible before they become forgotten security liabilities.

The wallet also includes scam and phishing-token detection intended to identify suspicious airdropped or promotional assets before a user interacts with them.

On Ethereum, R0AR Smart Wallet supports MEV-protected transaction broadcasting through Flashbots and MEV-Blocker infrastructure, with fallback to standard RPC broadcasting when protected execution is unavailable.

NFTs Without the Broken-Wallet Experience

R0AR Smart Wallet includes support for both ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs, together with an intentionally redundant data architecture.

Rather than depending on a single NFT provider, the wallet can use a cascading provider strategy involving services such as Moralis, Alchemy and Blockscout-compatible sources. IPFS gateway caching and fallback functionality is also included to reduce the broken images and missing metadata that frequently impact NFT wallet interfaces.

OpenSea data can further enrich supported collections with floor-price and collection-verification information.

For collectors, the goal is not simply to show that an NFT exists in a wallet address. It is to make the NFT portfolio useful.

Multiple Ways to Enter Web3

Another common point of friction occurs before a user ever reaches DeFi: acquiring crypto.

R0AR Smart Wallet integrates multiple potential fiat funding providers including Coinbase, MoonPay, Transak, Ramp and Stripe, allowing users to access secure hosted purchase flows depending on provider availability and location.

Supported provider experiences can include card payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Using multiple providers also reduces dependence on the pricing, geographic availability or service status of any single fiat gateway.

Connect to the Decentralized Web

R0AR Smart Wallet includes WalletConnect v2 support, allowing users to pair with compatible decentralized applications through QR codes or manually entered connection URIs.

A dedicated session-management interface enables users to review and revoke connected dApp sessions, while transaction and signature requests display their details before approval.

Together with the wallet’s broad network support, the capability is designed to make R0AR Smart Wallet a portable identity and transaction layer across a wide range of Web3 applications.

R0AR Academy: Learning Crypto Inside the Wallet

R0AR Smart Wallet also approaches user education differently.

Instead of directing first-time users to external documentation, YouTube videos or lengthy knowledge bases, the application incorporates R0AR Academy, a bite-sized educational system built directly into the wallet.

Lessons can award XP, streaks and badges, while guided experience tracks adjust the depth of information presented based on the user’s experience level. In-app tours can also be replayed, with contextual guidance helping users understand fundamental actions as they encounter them.

The concept is to allow users to learn Web3 by doing Web3.

For experienced users, those educational layers can remain out of the way. For new users, they can help transform intimidating concepts including gas, backups, wallet permissions and transactions into guided experiences.

A Different Standard for Mobile Crypto Wallets

Many wallets excel in one or two categories.

Some are simple.

Some support large numbers of networks.

Some provide advanced trading.

Some emphasize security.

Some focus on onboarding.

R0AR Smart Wallet was built around the idea that users should not have to choose.

Its architecture combines five-way swap comparison, automatic RPC recovery, MEV protection, token-approval monitoring, multiple fiat providers, broad multichain support, guided education and a premium mobile interface within one self-custody platform.

“This is what we believe a smart wallet should actually mean,” Plantholt added. “It is not about putting the word ‘smart’ in front of a wallet. It means the wallet should actively help the user get better execution, understand risk, recover from infrastructure failures, navigate multiple chains and make better decisions without ever taking custody away from them.”

Part of the Expanding R0AR Ecosystem

R0AR Smart Wallet represents another component of R0AR’s broader strategy to build an interconnected Web3 ecosystem spanning digital assets, decentralized finance, self-custody infrastructure, blockchain technology and emerging AI-powered services.

The mobile wallet provides users with a self-custodial entry point into that ecosystem while remaining capable of interacting with the broader decentralized economy through industry-standard networks and protocols.

And the principle behind it remains straightforward:

One wallet. More chains. Better execution. Greater visibility.

Self-custody. Your keys, your kingdom.
