New self-sovereign smart wallet platform combines multisignature security, programmable delegation, DeFi functionality and a foundation for governed AI agents — without surrendering custody or control.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — August 19, 2026

R0AR today announced R0AR Safe 2.0, https://r0arsafe.com a major evolution of its privacy-first, non-custodial multisignature smart wallet platform designed to give individuals, teams, organizations and Web3 projects greater control over digital assets while laying the foundation for programmable, AI-enabled finance.

Built on the established Safe smart account standard, R0AR Safe 2.0 moves beyond the traditional idea of a crypto wallet. It is designed as a programmable financial control layer where multiple owners can govern assets together, permissions can be delegated without transferring ownership, financial activity can be coordinated across multiple blockchain networks, and future autonomous AI agents can operate inside clearly defined boundaries.

The premise is simple: the future of Web3 banking will not be built around handing assets to another institution. It will be built around programmable wallets that allow users to determine exactly who — or what — can act, under what conditions, and with whose approval.

R0AR Safe 2.0 is built for that future.

From Single-Key Wallets to Programmable Web3 Banking

Traditional banking relies on institutions to custody assets and enforce permissions. Early crypto replaced the institution with a private key, giving users direct ownership but often concentrating enormous financial authority into a single credential.

Multisignature smart accounts introduce a different model.

Instead of one compromised key being enough to move an entire treasury, a Safe can require a configurable threshold of owners — such as two of three or three of five — to approve a transaction before it can execute. R0AR Safe supports configurable M-of-N ownership and allows ownership structures to evolve through the same multisignature approval process.

Safe's smart-account architecture likewise supports threshold ownership as well as extensible modules and programmable transaction logic, providing an increasingly important foundation for sophisticated on-chain financial accounts.

R0AR believes this model represents an important building block for Web3 banking: accounts that can hold assets, enforce organizational rules, interact with decentralized finance, distribute authority among multiple parties, and eventually authorize software and AI agents — while remaining under the control of their owners.

Privacy Is a Product Requirement, Not an Add-On

R0AR Safe 2.0 was designed around a privacy-first philosophy.

According to the R0AR Safe architecture, the platform does not incorporate third-party analytics SDKs such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel or Sentry. Wallet authentication is signature-based, while user preferences including interface settings, onboarding state and other personalization data can remain locally stored rather than becoming another centralized behavioral profile.

Users can hide specific assets or addresses from their own views, identify spam or phishing addresses, filter suspicious activity and determine which DeFi interactions appear within financial and analytics views.

The objective is not to make public blockchains private. On-chain transactions remain visible according to the rules of their respective networks.

Instead, R0AR Safe is designed to minimize the additional surveillance layer that can be created when wallet applications collect, aggregate and analyze a user's behavior on top of publicly available blockchain data.

Security Through Distributed Authority

At the center of R0AR Safe 2.0 is the principle that control over significant digital assets should not depend on a single point of failure.

Private keys are never held by R0AR Safe. Assets remain controlled by the owners and approval threshold of the underlying Safe smart account. Users can connect supported software and hardware wallets, and because the account is based on the open Safe standard, users are not dependent on a proprietary R0AR custody layer to retain access to their assets.

R0AR Safe 2.0 adds multiple layers of application security, including fresh wallet signatures for mutating actions, replay-attack protections, Safe transaction hashing, nonce management, duplicate-submission controls, transaction expiration mechanisms, input validation, rate limiting, address normalization, security-event logging and emergency platform controls.

Existing Safe users can also import a compatible Safe by address and network rather than creating a new wallet or transferring their assets. Existing owners and ownership structures are read from the blockchain, supporting a model built around interoperability rather than lock-in.

Delegation Changes What Self-Custody Can Do

One of the most significant components of R0AR Safe 2.0 is its integration with Delegate.xyz v2.

Delegation addresses a persistent problem in self-custody: valuable assets often need to prove ownership or confer rights to another wallet or application, but moving those assets into an everyday hot wallet introduces unnecessary risk.

With delegation, the asset does not have to move.

A Safe holding valuable tokens, NFTs or other digital property can delegate specific rights to another wallet. That wallet can then be recognized by compatible applications as acting on behalf of the asset-holding address while the underlying assets remain in the multisig.

Delegate.xyz's v2 architecture supports delegation at multiple levels, including an entire wallet, a specific contract or an individual asset. Its documentation describes delegation as an on-chain permissioning mechanism in which ownership remains with the original wallet.

R0AR Safe brings this capability into the multisignature governance process.

Delegation grants and revocations can be proposed through the Safe transaction workflow, meaning changes to authority can require the same collective approval structure protecting the underlying assets. R0AR Safe supports full-wallet delegation, contract-level delegation, individual NFT delegation and fine-grained rights definitions.

That has implications far beyond NFT access.

Delegation is the bridge between self-custody and programmable authority.

A business can keep treasury assets protected while granting an operational wallet defined capabilities. An individual can separate high-value storage from everyday interaction. A project can distinguish ownership from execution. And, critically, an owner can eventually authorize an AI agent to perform narrowly defined actions without handing that agent unrestricted control of the wallet.

Building the Governance Layer for AI Agents

The next evolution of programmable wallets is not simply enabling people to transact.

It is enabling software to transact on behalf of people without giving that software unlimited financial authority.

R0AR is developing its AI Agentic Launchpad around this principle.

The R0AR Safe architecture is designed so that an agent can be assigned a policy before receiving authority. Policies can specify permitted networks, approved assets, allowed actions, protocol allowlists, per-transaction spending ceilings, monthly spending limits, maximum swap slippage and token budgets with reset schedules and expiration periods.

Agent authorization is designed to remain subject to multisignature governance, while agent permissions can be paused or revoked. Agent configurations can also be exported without exposing private keys or secrets, and activity is designed to remain auditable after revocation.

The implications are significant.

An AI agent could eventually rebalance assets, execute approved swaps, manage defined payments, interact with approved DeFi protocols or perform other financial tasks — but only inside the permissions established by the wallet's owners.

The goal is not to give an AI a bank account with unlimited authority.

The goal is to give users a programmable, revocable mandate that determines exactly what an agent is permitted to do.

In that model, the multisig becomes the governance layer above the agent.

A Financial Command Center Across 20+ EVM Networks

R0AR Safe 2.0 is designed to support more than 20 EVM networks, including Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Gnosis Chain, Avalanche, Celo, Linea, Scroll, zkSync Era, Mantle and other supported networks.

Beyond core multisig functionality, the platform brings additional financial tools into the same self-custodial environment.

R0AR Safe integrates CoW Protocol for decentralized swaps, bringing solver-based execution and MEV protection into the multisig transaction process. CoW Protocol independently describes its architecture as using competing solvers and signed trade intents to protect orders from common forms of MEV, including sandwich attacks.R0AR Safe 2.0 also includes portfolio visibility across tokens, NFTs, DeFi positions and streaming payments; filterable transaction histories; address-book functionality; financial statement categorization and export; staking and liquidity-management surfaces; Sablier streaming payments; airdrop tools; and governance functionality.

Together, these capabilities are intended to make the multisig not simply a vault where assets sit, but a programmable financial operating system through which those assets can be governed and used.

Self-Sovereignty Without Isolation

For R0AR, self-sovereignty does not mean forcing users to operate alone.

It means allowing users to collaborate without surrendering ownership.

A family can distribute responsibility for important digital assets. A startup can require multiple executives to authorize treasury movements. A DAO can establish collective financial controls. A fund can separate asset custody from day-to-day operational permissions. A project can delegate narrowly defined rights to an operational wallet. And eventually, owners can permit autonomous agents to carry out specific functions under predefined financial policies.

In every case, authority can be distributed while ownership remains on-chain.

This is the larger vision behind R0AR Safe 2.0: a transition from wallets as key containers to wallets as programmable institutions.

As digital assets, decentralized finance and autonomous AI systems converge, R0AR believes the financial account of the future will need to be self-custodial, multi-party, programmable, interoperable and capable of safely delegating authority to both people and machines.

R0AR Safe 2.0 is being built for that future.

Your keys. Your rules. Your agents.
